The fine print, kept honest.

Homekin provides interior design services (online and in-person room makeovers and whole-home projects), the KIN membership, and a curated shop. Design work is delivered through your project workspace — plans, design boards, and shopping lists — by a matched design expert. Design fees are flat, stated before you pay, and cover the design work; furnishings and products are purchased separately.

You need an account for projects, orders, and membership. Keep your credentials private — you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify. Product prices, availability and lead times come from our vendors and can change until an order is placed. Some pieces are final sale and marked as such; for everything else, contact us and we'll arrange returns within our vendors' policies. Design fees are non-refundable once design work has begun, though we'll always work with you to make it right.

Gift cards never expire, are redeemable against Homekin services and shop purchases, and can't be exchanged for cash except where law requires.

KIN is a paid membership billed quarterly or annually at the price shown when you join. Founding-member pricing stays with you for as long as your membership remains active. Membership renews automatically until cancelled; cancel any time and you keep your benefits until the end of the paid period. Preferred pricing applies to eligible vendors and may vary by product.

Photos, floor plans and messages you upload stay yours — you give us permission to use them to deliver your project. Design boards and plans we create are for your personal use in your home. The Homekin name, site, and designs are our intellectual property; please don't copy or resell them.

By providing your phone number and consenting, you agree to receive automated marketing texts, WhatsApp messages, and calls (including prerecorded voice calls) from Homekin. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out.

Design advice is aesthetic guidance, not architectural, structural, or engineering services. Floor plans are for design reference only — verify all measurements on-site before purchasing or renovating. Vendor products carry their manufacturers' warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homekin's total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
